There are two forms of page protection: semi-protection and full protection. Only administrators (editors who have registered for ±4 days) may protect a page. Semi-protection protects pages against edits by IPs, which is mostly useful for countering spambots, and full protection protects pages against edits by any non-administrator. Because we are an anarchist wiki, and protection restricts people's freedoms, it should virtually never be used UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Pages that have been repeatedly re-created with spam or other inappropriate content may be created with {{deletedpage}} and then protected.
