MedicTag is a USB (Universal Serial Bus) tag that allows you to carry all your emergency information with you at all times and it fits on your key ring. MedicTag is designed to be used by active seniors, care givers and the elderly, children with existing medical conditions and anyone traveling such as business travelers or students attending school away from home. MedicTag is a digital medical alert device that combines your emergency information with today's technology. It requires very little computer skill to use, on most systems it is “plug and play†and is a simple fill in the blanks format. It is compatible with 99% of the home and office computer systems in use today and requires only Windows and MS Word to fill in the information. Once filled in any emergency service, ambulance, police or rescue squad with a laptop computer can use the device to have instant access to your emergency information. Doctors, emergency contacts, existing conditions, medications - MedicTag can tell them when you can't. Unlike medical alert bracelets or jewelry that have one or two words or a phone number to call, MedicTag has all your information immediately available. No guessing - No wasted time!

While MedicTag has only been on the market a few years, it is associated with a family owned company, located in upstate New York, which has been in business since 1956. The owners of MedicTag LLC have many years of experience in business operations, manufacturing, marketing, accounting, computers and quality control. They have put this expertise to use to produce a quality product that provides a measure of security and safety at an affordable price MedicTag was developed out of personal need, having family members with medical conditions that demanded their emergency information be readily available. After investigating existing methods and finding they lacked the ability to provide immediate and complete information, we turned to the latest computer technology to develop a patent pending, simple and user friendly method that works.
