This is a prospective article about the management of Anarchopedia. If possible, please take a part in its composition.

Shell access is used for mantaineance of the wiki software and databases. Anarchopedia is an experiment in Anarchy so it is important to make the access and the process for obtaining it as open as technically possible. The fact that wiki software relies on a central server is intrinsically unfit for direct-democratic management, but we are bound to use this model until a different software is available.

general guidelines about shell access

  • the community should have ultimate power to give or revoke shell access.
  • shell access should not be used to invade the privacy of other users or against the will of the community.
  • ...

root access

For root access, a prior experience with managing a unix or linux system is required or strongly recommended. The community should define how to grant or revoke root access to the server.
