This is page is being used to develop a specification for a "distributed system for cashless and gift economy".

Founding ideas

• Money is not an optimal solution for a social economy, as it leads to injust distribution. The alternative is a socialist economy: from each according to his/her abilities, to each according to his/her needs.

Goals

• The network should be accessible via web interface, chatbot, or e-mail interface.
• Personal information is confidential should be kept private as much as possible.
• The network should record reviews and comments on a given user or good shared.
• Users should be notified when a "transaction" is possible (another nearby or distant user is found that has the good looked for).

Specification (proposal)

• Volunters run clients on their own computer that store and distribute data and services for every participant of the network.
• Private data is never sent unencrypted unless strictly needed (when a "transaction" is available).

Implementations (proposals)

• Ad hoc modified wikishare.
• Modified wiki software (centralized).
• Modified auction software (centralized).
