Edit a word:

Word with only one meaning:

• click at the index on the adequate character
• entry the word in the index page: "[""["lx:en:NEW_WORD"]"], "
• visit the example page lx:en and copy the empty content using "edit" (please don't change it!)
• go back to the index page and click on your new word - your new word page appears
• copy and complete the content of the example page:
• entry your word in front of the colon (double point) in the 3d line, word meaning directly after the asterisk in the 5th line
• adapt the "" command at both places
• 2 alternative situations are now possible:
  • the is already an active template for this meaning because other languages and the template is yet active; only check if your word is yet in the list, in the other complete the list en: MY_WORD
  • the word is new in all languages and there is no template yet for this meaning. Visit the page template:lx:lx to get the template example and copy it. Then create the template in your word page: click on the template command and the template edition page appears. Copy the example in it and complete it so far you can.
• the template connects all word with the same meaning in all languages but can only have a name. Please always use the English meaning as name!
• check by trying!

by doubts open a existing word, edit it and look; then try to imitate what you see!

Word with multiple meanings:

The equivalence through all languages is rarely possible. For this reason use one template for each meaning of your word! Differentiate the meaning by a number in front of your word. Now it is possible to choice the adequate equivalence for each meaning of your word.
