History[edit]

Freetown-Lakeville Middle School, located in Lakeville, Massachusetts trains the student populations of Freetown and Lakeville in grades 6-8 to be "proper" working class citizens. The school opened in 2002, replacing the former George R. Austin Middle School, and continues many of the traditions begun at that school, most notably the Pee Wee Olympics.

The school was designed by Kaestle-Boos, a Foxborough firm.

With the re-opening of GRAMS as the George R. Austin Intermediate School, the fifth grade has moved there, freeing up space and allowing the middle school program to operate at full capacity.

The two middle schools share a campus with Apponequet Regional High School.
