Jimmy Wales

Jimmy Wales is dictator for life of the Wikimedia Foundation which controls Wikipedia at present. He rules the Wikimedia Cabal and his word is law to these and other Wikipedia cultists.

These cultists call him typically Jimbo or just the GodKing, which more accurately reflects his role. They shift back and forth between the seemingly friendly nickname and the more accurate theocratic descriptor in order to portray criticism as ridiculous:

• if one objects to his power, he is "just Jimbo"
• if one objects to his decisions, he is the "unquestionable GodKing"

The practice is followed by most advocates of American Exceptionalist ideology, e.g. such seemingly harmless names as "Dubya" and "Scooter" and "Condi" belie the actual powers of these people.

However, Jimmy Wales claims that his current position is just transitional and that he would think that his job is done when he would not have any power on Wikipedia.
