Proposed languages

Hi</BR> Concerning the actual choice of the languages: </BR> there is no choice!</BR> I, the initiator of the page, have really serious dictionaries and linguistic books for all the languages (excepted zb - WestBalkan! zb is already introduced as anarchopedia language) that I did enter (and more) and will enter myself in the next time so much I can into the dictionary at anarchopedia or into other documents in the limit of my time of course.</BR> And you are completely free to make the same (introduce new languages yourself) and to help/work in each existing and new language!</BR> Actually I don't enter the languages as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Russian (I did learn a little the precedent languages), Bulgarian, Hebrew, because I am not experimented to enter the different alphabets or signs (for this reason, I propose a romanized section of Arabic and Chinese). For the Chinese language, this purpose looks really easy, because an official rominized form, pinyin, exist and this form of dictionary can really be very useful because he gives the official pronunciation!). For arabic, it is a doubtful matter to interchange one of the most beautiful alphabets that we have, I know, Arabic people, please, excuse me, with the latin alphabet. But arabic is for me (an more people of course) a special difficult matter in the computer technic... For the same reason I did renonce to introduce other languages where I would have the possibility to collaborate: The discord between alphabet and keyboard! --Oui 12:23, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

• In linguistic sense, all standard West South Slavic languages are the same (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian/Bosniak and there si no clear if Montenegrin language exists or not). Differences between these languages are the same as differences between American and British languages. Between the half of 19th century and the end of 20th century these languages was called Serbo-Croatian. But, it is not so "correct" name. In political sense, Serbs and Croats are major ethnic groups in West Balkan (around 10 millions of Serbs and around 4 millions of Croats); but those language uses at least two more ethnic groups -- Bosniaks and Montenegros. Also, the name "Serbo-Croatian" is related to two totalitarian regimes: one was Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the another was Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. As code "zb" doesn't have any language, I got the code "zb" for "zapadnobalkanski" (West Balkan). It is not the name for standard language, but it is the (territorial) name for the group of very similar standard languages. There are no a lot of people who would work on West Balkan Anarchopedian project. There would be less people who would work on different Serbian and Croatian project and there would not be any person who would work on Bosnian/Bosniak and Montenegrin projects. If you think that it is not OK, we can discuss about that. There are always optional project "sh" -- Serbo-Croatian. But I don't think that unification is good idea. Add a language

Write an article in an other language

You are free to introduce an article written in an other language. Please announce it with the mark of your language (for ex.: en:BLABLA for English, fr:BLABLA for French, zhr:BLABLA for pinyin). Of course it is important to place links in different pages of different main languages because your new page is not in an existing hierarchy and will not be find easy! --Oui 12:52, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Add a language main page

Copy the form of the English main page by editing it, mark all, and copy.</BR> Edit the adequate template in the Navigation command "Community portal" and add an link to your future language main page</BR> Click on your new link</BR> The empty new main page appairs</BR> Add the text of the English main page and translate the fiew Titel texts you will find in the text (the most texts are in the templates and have to be transleted separately).</BR> Rename all the template names with the mark of your language.</BR> Save your new main page.</BR> Your new language exist!</BR> Edit the different templates according the English main page.--Oui 12:52, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Add a language in the dictionary

The name of all dictionary pages have to begin with lx:

• Proceed for the dictionary main page in a new language as for the language main page (see above)
• You don't need to create a complete new language to create a dictionary
  • If the language has a main page, edit a link to dictionary at the usual place on the main page
  • If your language hasn't a main page place the link to your dictionary on the page en:Actual languages at anarchopedia
• Add
  • your language into the template lx:lx
  • Visit the lx:en example template of the English dictionary
    • copy it into the same page in the new hierarchy of your new language
    • translate the text into your language
    • but don't translate the template names for the navigation! (you can translate the name of the templates of the information texts if you want)</BR>

(Both navigation templates are the way between the different languages. In the all the dictionares the names of the navigation templates are completly and only on English! If you don't respect this convention, you cut the dictionary of your language from the chain of all languages and isolate it!</BR>

• If your language is new, you will have a lot of work to add the link of your language into the templates of the different meanings of words! Sorry... To reduce the effort decide as soon as possible if you will contribute to the project and add your language link into this page and into the template page lx:lx! --Oui 14:50, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
