#Anarchopedia's server was down for around 17 hours because of one irresponsible action (scanning) of one person (not related to Anarchopedia) which has shell account. I don't expect such actions anymore. --[[User:Millosh|Milos Rancic]] 07:56, 19 Apr 2005 (CDT) | #Anarchopedia's server was down for around 17 hours because of one irresponsible action (scanning) of one person (not related to Anarchopedia) which has shell account. - There is a new Anarchopedia in Danish up, welcome!
- Meta is moved to the new server. During the next couple of hours all Anarchopedias would be moved to the new server. --Milos Rancic 13:49, 13 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Anarchopedia would not be online one day during the next 15 days. I am changing servers. Please, forward this message to Anarchopedia in your language. If you have some other questions, please use ICQ or IRC to ask me. --Milos Rancic 12:29, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Polish and Russian Anarchopedia are up. --Milos Rancic 09:04, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Temporary rule on meta: and eng: because of spammers: only registered users can edit. --Milos Rancic 17:38, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Anarchopedia's server was down for around 17 hours because of one irresponsible action (scanning) of one person (not related to Anarchopedia) which has shell account. I don't expect such actions anymore. --Milos Rancic 07:56, 19 Apr 2005 (CDT)
- All contributors to Anarchopedia can have email @anarchopedia.org. For more informations see Anarchopedia:email --Milos Rancic 13:32, 9 Feb 2005 (CST)
- We have new logo. --Milos Rancic 13:32, 9 Feb 2005 (CST)
- Our friend Christiaan has made a proposal for a new Anarchopedia logo. We should vote about new logo on Meta. --Milos Rancic 23:34, 20 Jan 2005 (CST)
- With old rewrite rules it was not possible to upload files. With new it is possible. You will see links like ".../index.php/some_page", but it is possible to type "http://deu.anarchopedia.org/some page" and your url will be rewritten to "http://deu.anarchopedia.org/index.php/some_page". When we would have some faster machines or some better MediaWiki code, we would have "nice urls", too. Also, you can change your skin to ApMonoBook or to any other now. --Milos Rancic 23:41, 18 Dec 2004 (CST)
- Articles from "Anarchopedia" and "Equipment for life" are moved to eng:. For sure, there are some other articles (not linked from the Main Page) to be moved. Also, if someone knows, let (s)he do something with dictionary. However, from now Meta is Meta, eng: is encyclopedia in English. --Milos Rancic 23:38, 12 Dec 2004 (CST)
- I started with moving texts from Meta to eng:. For sure, we have to move sections "Anarchopedia" and "Equipment for life". I think that "meta" articles should stay here (what is Anarchopedia, factions, sysops etc.). --Milos Rancic 13:54, 9 Dec 2004 (CST)
We have to make another decision about name space at Anarchopedia. Please, vote here. --Milos Rancic 13:41, 5 Dec 2004 (CST)(We have both.) --Milos Rancic 15:22, 6 Dec 2004 (CST)- Anarchopedia is divided into languages. (Default skin is MonoBook, but users can choose ApMonoBook skin.) Now, we have Anarchopedia in German, English, French, Croatian (interface is in English, there is no Croatian translation???), Italian (bad translation), Spanish and Serbian (bad translation). More about that on multilingualism. --Milos Rancic 21:55, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Logistic for language separation is almost done. The scripts for automatization of that process have their "alpha" form. Test Anarchopedia is implementation of configuration. Problem is Test's big usage of processor time. (Apache goes up to 20% of CPU.) We need to find what is the problem. --Milos Rancic
- I made patch for MediaWiki so we can use MonoBook and "ApMonoBook" (AnarchoPedia MonoBook) both. Patch is not in function here, but it would be used at new sites. You can test it at Test Anarchopedia. Place for patch is here. You can find there .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 file as well as you can browse directory. --Milos Rancic 05:14, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Work in progress: deviding Anarchopedia into separate (language) projects. --Millosh 11:25, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
We need to make decision about name space. --Millosh 00:41, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)- Temporary Anarchopedia's name space is different then interwiki standard. But, you don't need to type according to Anarchopedia's name space. You can type your text as "plain wiki" and then translate it with script for translation. (This is PHP script. We need JavaScript translation, too. If you want to make such script, please see source code of the script.) --Millosh 19:08, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Anarchopedia has been upgraded to MediaWiki 1.3.6. Report any problems to Anarchopedia:MediaWiki configuration.
- <span> tags have been enabled. Please use <span> and <div> instead of <font>. Guanaco 17:01, 9 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- Anarchopedia is now case-sensitive! Be careful with wiki links! --Millosh 01:14, 9 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- Would we write some kind of "anti-press article" to say to anarchist community that we are existing? --Millosh 07:35, 7 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- I hope you would like my new "design" (i.e., organization of the main page). We will change it in the future, for sure... --Millosh 17:53, 5 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- Anarchopedia has new CSS template. Some design of the front page will come soon. If you have some idea related to design, feel free to talk at Anarchopedia:en:Design. --Millosh 13:41, 5 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- All of users are now sysops/bureaucrats. For details, see Anarchopedia:Sysops --Millosh 12:15, 3 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- IANA's reseller Go Daddy, where domain Anarchopedia.org was registered, had some problems. It moved back DNS servers to old two and for a few hours (around 2004/10/03 00:00 GMT) host (www.)anarchopedia.org couldn't be reached. In the near future I'll make some infrastructure, so people can be informed about such situations at some other place. --Millosh 20:49, 2 Oct 2004 (CDT)
- We need to find a solution for organization of our work.
