Anarchopedia talk:1st General Meeting/thoughts by X
Great points. I agree with it. I would add that the boundaries between languages should be put down and that we could do something about this. - Samarre
I too agree with X's position, wiki encyclopedia to me can be synonymous for "open knowledge-portal". "GFDL corpus" is a similar concept. Such a portal is a necessary tool for the coming peaceful anarchic/anarchist revolution.
The only part I have not understood is "protecting the database from justice", if a copyright violation is discovered it can be deleted, as it would happen on another wiki or even on a forum, there should never be any problems with justice. ~Rev 22 16:14, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Protection means in example this http://www.indymedia.org/en/2004/10/111987.shtml or this http://newswire.indymedia.org/de/2006/08/114120.shtml --X 16:39, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- OK sorry, I did not think about this possibility. ~Rev 22 17:11, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
One more vote for the open knowledge-portal! I had a similar idea, but which could have undesirable consequences. I have developed it more on my thoughts on X's thoughts. Mr.Rocks 13:44, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Just to say that it is better to call it "free knowledge" then "open knowledge". The last one is neoliberal social POV. --Milos Rancic 15:01, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- BTW, I completely agree with that concept. --Milos Rancic 15:02, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
